I think this game would not only do well with co-op, but a pvp addition would be epic. It looks like it would feel a lot like 007 days, and the smoothness and quality of the game mechanics even reminds me of Halo. GG. But, ultimately I'm loving the Doom, Duke Nukem, and Hexen vibes this gives off. This is such a blast of nostalgia is the best posible ways, yet with you're own creative touch, with some amazing details I noticed even, even though you choose thia style of graphics, Just the sky as I saw the player running around added so much to the game it had my in awe. I even suggested the pvp idea because it gives me a Hunt: Showdown vibe as well. Even if that game is hated by many, it has been and probably always will be an all time favorite of mine because of the dark, gritty feel of the atmosphere, and the intense pvp battles while trying to survive against the mobs at the same time.

I would love a (definitely rebalanced) cultic 1v1 between friends

Items and weapons are quite undistinguishable in actual game especially in the dark places. If it was just a sprite or 3d model would be easy to figure it out. Voxels are very confusing.

When exact the date of this game timeline? In the cover image I can clearly see a very modern car but overall weapons are mostly used in WW2 era and quite confusing(+Chinalake) BTW, this game is FREAKING AWESOME.

Just played the demo and had amazing fun I will buy this for sure looking forward to showing my son he's a bit too young at the moment. Great game really dragged up some amazing nostalgic memories of blood, duke nukem, outlaws classic shooters and gameplay. Thank you sir

Jason Smith: You have unquestionably created one of the coolest and funnest games of all time. I'm not sure if you can answer this question for me. I saw a comment of yours on a GManLIves video from a while back where you mention the dithering and pallet of your game messes with encoders and I was wondering if you have any advice on how to get more clean footage. I recorded some gameplay for my channel and the source capture looks great but when I upload it to UA-cam, after UA-cam processes it the quality gets noticeably muddier... and I REALLY want to showcase your game in all it's proper crispy pixel glory. Also please finish implementing co-op at some point. Even if you chip away at it for a year. I really want to go through this game with my Retro FPS loving horror fanatic brother.

I played the demo of your game and I absolutely love it. The visuals, the atmosphere, the theme, the music, the gameplay, the level design. It's all bang on. I plan to buy it very soon and my brother who also loves retro FPS games and just awesome games in general is excited for it again after I told him how good the demo was. I'd love to see you do more devlogs but also PLEASE try to get co-op into the game. I would love to be able to play through it with my brother. Thank you for making an awesome demo of what I imagine is an entirely stellar game. Keep that creativity flowing!
